Ball State to host Northern Kentucky

Ball State baseball (24-17, 10-5 MAC) will play Northern Kentucky (15-26, 4-15 Horizon League) today at 3 p.m. The Cardinals hit .294 as a team, led by junior first baseman Caleb Stayton's .395 batting average.

Johnny Watts leads Ball State into MAC Championships

Only three Ball State men's golfers have won the Mid-American Conference Championship individual title. The first was Kirk Schooley in 1983, and the second was Jamie Broce in 1997. But only one Ball State men's golfer has won it in his first season. Johnny Watts in 2015.


April 26 is National Pretzel Day. Jamba Juice has two types of pretzels such as the Sourdough Parmesan and Apple Cinnamon.

Where to get free, discounted pretzels on National Pretzel Day

National Pretzel Day is observed annually on April 26, and many restaurants that sell the twisty treats are offering them for free or discounted prices to celebrate. Starting in 2003, Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell declared April 26 as “National Pretzel Day” to acknowledge the importance of the pretzel to the state’s history and economy.

Run Club president finishes Boston Marathon

Junior business administration major and Ball State Runners’ Association President Davon Geiger traveled 886 miles from Ball State to compete with 30,000 other runners in the Boston Marathon April 18.

Jeremiah Davis will continue basketball career at Georgia State

It appears Jeremiah Davis has found a new home. The Muncie native, who has recently been granted a sixth year of college eligibility, tweeted that he will continue his basketball career and attend graduate school at Georgia State University. Davis played 42 games in two seasons at Ball State, averaging 6.6 points and 2.8 assists while shooting .364 percent from the field.  He started the first two games of this season, but lost his spot in the rotation and played in just four of the Cardinals' final 17 games.
