The days are long, and they often get no thanks for the work they do. But the election wouldn't be able to go on without them.
Ball State soccer held out hope for an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament after an early exit from the Mid-American Conference Tournament, but Monday night the team learned its season is officially over. The Cardinals (14-3-4) won the MAC regular season title and finished the season ranked 51st in the RPI rankings, but did not make the 64-team tournament. 19 teams ranked lower than Ball State made the cut, but only two of those teams -- Oklahoma State and Texas A&M -- received at-large bids.
