New College of Health to allow collaboration opportunities

Logistics for the new College of Health have been released. The college, set to open in Fall 2016, will house seven majors and is estimated to have more than 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled. Programs from the College of Applied Sciences and Technology, College of Sciences and Humanities and the Teachers College will become part of the new college.

Macklemore, Ryan Lewis show brings energy, powerful messages

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis took John R. Emens Auditorium by storm the evening of Feb. 3 — with songs ranging from the message of Macklemore's past to his crazy alter ego "Raven Bowie" — and the audience responded by filling the auditorium with sound of voices singing along and the sight of dancing and hands in the air.

Ball State defeats Akron

Ball State narrowly defeated Akron Wednesday night in Worthen Arena. Nathalie Fontaine lead the team in rebounds and points, earning her "Cardinal of the Game."

Finding the balance

Rising tuition and living costs mean more of the financial burden of a college education falls on students’ shoulders, creating the need to work and go to class


There is a large touchscreen in the Ball Communication Building that is known for their games that are developed by Digital Corps, which is located across the hallway. Student employees develop games tailored to Ball State

Most students have walked past the large touchscreen mounted in the Ball Communication Building. The screen is most known for the game "Flappy Cardinal," a game similar to "Flappy Bird." But few people know much about the detail put into the games developed by Digital Corps, which is located across the hallway.

Men's golf alumni take next step

Three Ball State golf alumni are one step closer to playing at golf’s highest level. Brian Maurer (2009), Eric Steger (2011) and McCormick Clouser (2015) qualified for the Professional Golf Association Tour Latinoamérica.
