Louis Ingelhart, professor emeritus of the Ball State University journalism department, died Sunday night at age 86. Ingelhart came to Ball State fall 1953. Ingelhart was the chairman of the department of journalism until 1979. He retired from Ball State in 1983, but he remained dedicated to the university and college student journalism throughout his life.
