Members of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity are looking for a new place to live after their national organization pulled the chapter's charter. President Mitch France said the members were told about the decision Thursday night. He said the charter's revoking resulted from the chapter failing to meet the Ball State University all-men's average GPA of 2.

Newell named MAC West Player of the Week Ball State University junior forward Anthony Newell was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week by the league office Monday. Last year, Tara Choate and her roommate agreed to compete for the crown at the Miss Ball State Scholarship Program. Then, Choate's roommate contracted mononucleosis, and she competed without her friend in the first pageant of her life, she said, becoming the first runner-up.
