Ball State’s David Owsley Museum of Art embraced an anti-Valentine’s Day theme at the DOMA After Hours event Friday. The event was from 5-8 p.m., and included a variety of activities and events, such as cross stitching, fortune telling, anti-speed dating and creating ex-effigies.

Representatives from the Ball State University Honors College Diversity Project collaborated with the Inclusive Excellence Series to host a Disability Pride awareness event. The event, hosted by diversity fellows from the organization, included lectures from guest speakers within the mental health and disability fields.
Latinx Student Union (LSU) held Latinxpoolza in the L.A. Pittenger Student Center in Cardinal Hall Jan. 20, as is tradition for Ball State University’s Unity Week. This was the 43rd annual Unity Week for Ball State, and Latinxpoolza continued the tradition of being one of the closing events of the week.
Jan. 16 from 11:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m., Ball State University's MLK Planning Committee, Ball State students and Muncie community members were involved in an on-campus march to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and raise awareness for inclusion and equality.
Dec.16, the Ball State University Board of Trustees held their semester-end meeting, addressing business from three different university committees, and holding a general session to close. The Board of Trustees next meeting is set for March 3, 2023.

The political science department at Ball State University, along with the Student Government Association, hosted a watch party for the 2022 midterm elections. Attendees and organizers discussed the midterm elections and their votes/beliefs.
