Ball State Women’s Swim and Dive breaks school record in 200-yard freestyle relay

Going into the last day of the Mid-American Conference Championships, Ball State Women’s Swim and Dive already obtained 15 top-10 times in various events. The Cardinals finished with 20 top-10 times after Saturday including the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Ball State Men’s Swim and Dive's Logan Ackley aims to lower his record at MAC Championships

Since last year's Mid-American Conference Championships, junior Logan Ackley has been eyeing his own record in the 200 backstroke (1:48.81). Little by little, his time has been inching toward a new record. The main difference in his stroke this season is the way he is able to propel quickly to the surface off of every turn.

Ball State Men’s Swim and Dive return home after weekend on the road

Ball State women's diver Rachel Bertram qualifies for third NCAA Diving Zone

For the third straight season, junior Rachel Bertram has obtained an NCAA Diving Zone C Championship qualifying point total of 290.48 in the three-meter diving event for Ball State Women’s Diving. Bertram is the first Cardinal this season to obtain this qualification.

Men's and Women's Swim and Dive fall to Grand Valley State

In it second meeting with Grand Valley State in two seasons, Ball State Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive were unable to defeat Grand Valley State as the men fell, 199-96, and the women, 175.5-124.5. The Cardinals saw six first place finishes on the day.

At its last tournament of the fall season, Ball State Men’s Tennis traveled to Kalamazoo, Michigan for the MAC Indoor Championship. The pair of senior Tom Carney and sophomore Bryce Bonin qualified for the doubles championship and three players qualified for the singles final.

Ball State Women's Tennis closes out fall season with successful finish in Michigan

Ball State alumnus Jeremy Agnew returns to coach swim teams

As former men’s swim and dive head coach Bob Thomas hung up the whistle last season, it was a familiar face that would succeed Thomas’ spot. Jeremy Agnew, a 1996 graduate from Ball State, made a strong impact in his homecoming to Ball State.
