MUNCIE, IN (Newslink Indiana) -- The weather for the next several days is going to be a bit "boring". All of the exciting weather came earlier in the week with the snow and rain and although meteorological winter began on December 1st, the weather won't feel that way for the upcoming 7 days. Today clouds will continue to linger around with fog sticking around until about midday. The afternoon though we should see those clouds start to clear up and we will make it up to about 43 degrees today. Friday night the skies should continue to clear as high pressure builds in the area. Saturday and Sunday are going to be mirror images of each other and the high pressure will continue to stick around. We will see sunny skies for both days and highs of 50 and 51 respectively. Late Sunday clouds will start to make their way back into the area and we will experience partly sunny skies on Monday. As the high pressure moves off to the east, clouds will continue to build in the area leaving us with mostly cloudy conditions for the middle of next week and highs will be in the upper 40s hovering around 50 degrees with a slight chance for rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Get out and enjoy the weekend as there won't be too many like them in the upcoming future!

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Snow is again forecast to return to Muncie, but don't expect to see anything resembling a winter wonderland. This weather system will start out with rain moving through the region in the late morning to early afternoon hours of Wednesday. This will transition to a rain/snow mix throughout the afternoon, eventually becoming all snow by the evening hours. We are not expecting any heavy accumulations at this time, but areas that get under a heavier snow shower could see accumulations around half an inch to maybe an inch in some isolated areas. Following this weather system high pressure will take over, with sunny skies and slightly above average temperatures, finishing out the forecast.
