MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Snow is again forecast to return to Muncie, but don't expect to see anything resembling a winter wonderland. This weather system will start out with rain moving through the region in the late morning to early afternoon hours of Wednesday. This will transition to a rain/snow mix throughout the afternoon, eventually becoming all snow by the evening hours. We are not expecting any heavy accumulations at this time, but areas that get under a heavier snow shower could see accumulations around half an inch to maybe an inch in some isolated areas. Following this weather system high pressure will take over, with sunny skies and slightly above average temperatures, finishing out the forecast.
