Tonight: Get ready for some late-night thunder action! Some storms are expected to roll through the area after midnight with some models as late (or as early) as 2 am! These should be quick hitters, but it would not be surprising to see some of these hit with some locally damaging winds and the threat of some hail. These should clear well before daybreak, though, so those morning commutes should be in the clear!

Tonight: A windy shock to the system as gusts to 40-45 mph couple with chilly conditions around 38° to deliver feels-like temps in the 20s. Bundle up out there for your late-night plans!

Tonight: Aside from the visit from a few mid and low-level clouds, tonight should be a decently clear night. This and the dry air we have present work together to lower that nighttime/early-morning temperature to a chilly 34°. Winds relax overnight, but should keep the air mixed enough to keep frost out of the forecast for the most part.

Tonight: Wild ride for us as our best shot of storms rolls through before midnight, then our next showers and gusty winds herald the arrival of a potent cold front that sends our temperatures tumbling. That 63° you see will be our high just after midnight for tomorrow, as temps continue to fall throughout the day. Stay weather aware by following our Facebook, X/Twitter & Instagram for details as they happen. We also recommend you have your NOAA Weather Radio handy as well as Wireless Emergency Alerts on as these storms carry a risk of significant hail , damaging winds and even the threat of an isolated tornado!

Tonight: High clouds that streamed in for another nice sunset earlier will thicken through the night, and we have a shot at some isolated snow showers for the earliest of folks out the door, between 3-6 pm. Temps do go below freezing & visibility could lower in some of these snow showers, but it is dry & we will have a hard time getting this shower activity to accumulate, but the upper-level energy we are working with could compensate for that, so be careful on the way out!

Tonight: Clear and dry air cools down quickly, but we have a flip in the wind direction that might be helpful in keeping things not as cold! southwest winds will increase starting tonight, taking air from a warmer area, allowing for a few degrees of warming! Some areas especially to the north of Muncie may see some frost, so make the extra time to scrape those windows when nighttime turns to morning & you hit the road!

Tonight: After the coldest Halloween since 1988 for some, another cold & brisk night is in store. In addition, more snow showers are possible, but it looks like they might be largely hit and miss. If we do get one, however, you could find yourself in some slick road conditions if you are out driving as they could become slightly intense. Otherwise, sticking with vehicles, you will likely need to scrape off the frost from your windows like you did this morning -leave some extra time tomorrow morning!

Tonight: Finally, some clearing skies! Other than the night being a chilly one (get that warm jacket out the door), tonight actually looks pretty nice for stargazing! Also of note will be a southerly wind; that will help keep us from being too cold & set the stage for warming weather tomorrow.

Tonight: More perfect sleeping weather compared with the conditions last night & this morning! A little more in the way of breeziness could kick in through the morning hours to knock down the fog we have been having. Otherwise, upper 50s in the outlying rural areas with lower 60s. Sleeping and stargazing perfect!

Tonight: You might be seeing clouds streaming in as you read this, and they look to thicken up overnight as a disturbance rolls along a warm front that already brought 80s in behind it through portions of southern & western Indiana (Terre Haute & Evansville for instance). That disturbance is trying to bring moisture with it in the form of what may try to be showers, but that rain may evaporate before reaching the ground due to the dry air in place around our area.
