Ball State offers shuttle service to airport

For students that need a ride to the Indianapolis International Airport, Ball State University will offer shuttle service May 7 and May 8, with various departure times to provide flexibility. The service is open for students, faculty and staff.

But with the decline of manufacturing in the area, residents increasingly moved away from the area in favor of the west side of town. With the area now mostly in disrepair, members of the Muncie Action Plan organizers aim to restore the neighborhood to its original luster.

Psychiatry shortage in Indiana

Ball State University doesn't offer a degree in psychiatry — a field where workers are badly needed in Indiana — but it does teach psychiatric issues in nursing and psychology classes.

Beautifying Ball State's campus

On any particular day, they may be mowing the grass outside LaFollette Complex, shoveling the snow off the sidewalks of McKinley Avenue or laying down brick. They maintain Ball State University's campus and do a wide variety of odd jobs that often times go unnoticed. They are the members of landscaping services and are located on both ends of campus.
