The Geological Society hosted their first annual Geode Smash April 26 in front Pruis Hall. Students got to pick out and purchase a geode and then smashed it open to reveal the crystals inside. The goal behind the event was not only to advertise the Geological Society, but also to provide students a chance to relieve some built up stress. DN PHOTO ALLIE KIRKMAN
