Person shot on Dicks Street

Police are responding to a person shot at 111 S. Dicks St., according to Muncie police dispatch.  Muncie Police Chief Joe Winkle said it appears to be accidental and there is no ongoing threat to campus.

Another Berry Long Run honors lost loved ones, brings community together

Those passing through the one-flashing-light town of Gaston this Friday are liable to see games of pumpkin ball, rock-paper-scissors tournaments, grilled food, bounce houses, the Hunter Smith Band and even the world's longest field goal kick. Behind all of that, however, is a tight-knit community of people coming together for a good cause.

Field hockey travels to ranked James Madison

For the second time this season, the Ball State field hockey team will face a top 25 team in No. 13 James Madison. After a close loss last weekend to Indiana, the Cardinals believe they can hang with the best of the best.
