Kobe Bryant, daughter perish in copter crash, 7 others dead

NBA legend Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter and seven others were killed in a helicopter crash on a remote, steep hillside in Southern California on Sunday, his sudden death at age 41 touching off an outpouring of grief for a star whose celebrity transcended basketball.

Late scoring run by Agustsdottir leads to Ball State conference win

Sophomore forward Thelma Dis Agustsdottir had two points in the game against Miami (Ohio) just over a year ago. One year later, Agustsdottir went 8-for-12 from the field, including making seven of her last eight shots, to lead Ball State with 19 points, her second-highest season total.

Redditor fixes 4-year-old netcode issue in ‘Street Fighter V’

  The modder, who goes by ‘Altimor’ on Reddit, posted the fix on January 9 to /r/StreetFighter with a download link along with source code and instructions. They cite the bugs of Street Fighter V’s online mode along with Capcom’s negligence as the key reasons behind coming up with a solution. Other players are not required to have the solution downloaded, but it is still possible for one-sided rollback to occur on their end if they do not have it.
