October is Fire Prevention Month, sparking events and campaigns across the nation to aid those in need with the goal of shrinking these averages.

Ball State cross country is preparing for yet another road meet, this time the Mid-American Conference Championships

“[When] we’re looking at scheduling and things of that nature, you are competing against other, more established meets that are on the schedule,” Wheatley said. “Our sport is a little different from other sports, again, it’s you’re at the mercy of what’s going on that weekend, and we have come up against a couple weekends where there are some established meets that attract other teams.”

You may not feel all that powerful, coloring in a circle next to the name of your preferred candidate, while in the voting booth. But in that voting booth, you are powerful. You and all the millions of Americans voting alongside you are powerful.

The Ball State Student Government votes in College Democrats and Republicans

Oct. 26, the Ball State Student Government Association (SGA) not only voted in organizations, but they did so dressed in their Halloween costumes. The most significant topic of the day came from the voting in for the College Republicans and the College Democrats at Ball State University. The votes made the organizations SGA-protected.

Now do not get me wrong, I am not stupid; I am well aware of the fact that Ben Simmons is a below-average three-point shooter with a three-point percentage of 14.7 percent. I am also well aware that the majority of Ben Simmons’ career points are from the restricted area/paint where he is effective 61.9 percent of the time.
