Ugly, ugly and, yes, even more ugly. Before going on a two-game road trip, Ball State faced Buffalo at Worthen Arena in a weeknight Mid-American Conference (MAC) matchup. The first few minutes were a sign of what was ahead. Considering the loudest moment of the night was a fan hitting a halfcourt shot during a timeout, this was a game that fans wish never happened as the Bulls defeated the Cardinals 91-65. This was the 43rd annual Unity Week for Ball State, and Latinxpoolza continued the tradition of being one of the closing events of the week.
On Friday, the Delta Eagles (10-5, 1-2 HHC) welcomed Pendleton Heights (4-11, 0-4 HHC) to Muncie as the two Hoosier Heritage Conference (HHC) teams would battle it out in a game that came down to the final minutes. The hometown Eagles would not disappoint as they outlasted the Arabians 60-56. Even though every win is good in high school basketball, this win was special for the Eagles.

The Golden Flashes clicked on just about every aspect of the game, while the Cardinals had trouble on both sides of the ball. Head Coach Michael Lewis acknowledges that this was their first real test of the season.
