For Ozzie Mann, sitting on the bench may have worked out in his favor. The redshirt sophomore on the Ball State football team spent five and a half games on the bench after losing the starting quarterback position to Jack Milas heading into the homecoming game against Western Michigan on Oct.

MEN'S BASKETBALL: Belcaster provides spark off bench as Ball State defeats Grambling State

Sophomore Belcaster Rocco first three wasn’t the games he expected to have after missing last season as a redshirt, tonight’s game would be a different story for him. It would be a career night for Rocco as he would finish the game with a career high 15 going 4-6 from 3 as Ball State wins over Grambling State 88-46. “I been feeling good in practice,” said Rocco.

School buses are some the biggest vehicles on the road, and they safely carry thousands of students throughout the state everyday. What does it take to keep these buses safe for the road and our children. 


Comparing Indiana Seasonal Produce Prices

Prices of produce are generally higher in the months when they are out of season, because they are shipped from another location where they are in season. More consumer money can be wasted when produce is bought out of season due to a shorter shelf life.


OUR VIEW: University must keep students aware of crime

Ball State needs to define transparent alerts protocol. The Ball State Alert Twitter page launched a week before it announced there was a possible armed assailant in November 2013 in the Jo Ann Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center. The first tweet about that occurrence last year received 238 retweets, notifying the Ball State community of the potential danger and spreading knowledge of the Twitter page.
