Red Dead rumors

Rumors surrounding a possible Red Dead Redemption sequel are flying once more since Take-Two Initiative CEO Strauss Zelnick announced that the game series is a “permanent franchise.” The most prominent rumor, according to news outlets such as Christian Today and MNR Daily, is that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be announced at this year’s E3 convention in Los Angeles.  The game will supposedly feature Jack Marston, son of Redemption’s protagonist John Marston, and will be called Red Dead Revolution. However, the official websites of Take-Two Initiative and subsidiary company Rockstar Games have remained eerily silent on the issue.  E3’s website offers no solutions, either. Rumors are nothing new to the Red Dead fanbase.  Last year, a possible sequel was supposedly hinted at by former Rockstar employee Danny Ross.  The speculation stemmed from Reddit, where he answered a question regarding Rockstar’s future with, “Really?



Hatsune Miku to perform in Chicago, extends tour

Vocaloid fans in the Midwest now have the opportunity to see the popular blue-haired artist close to home and “in person.” Hatsune Miku, a Crypton Vocaloid, will be performing in Chicago on May 25. This concert is just one of eight in the Hatsune Miku Expo North America 2016 tour.


'Doom' release date and collector's edition revealed

DOOM will come to us all... on May 13, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, as Bethesda and id Software recently announced. They have also announced that the upcoming DOOM game will release alongside a limited collector's edition for those who want it. The premium collector’s edition will be $119.99 , and include a 12" statue of the Revenant Demon, as well as the Demon Multiplayer Pack, which contains a specialized armor and one-time-use upgrades for multiplayer combat. A cinematic trailer has also been released, detailing the gory goodness to come in the following months.



Nintendo to release mobile games

After a shareholders’ meeting, Nintendo announced their plans for the coming year. They urged their investors to hold fast and wait until the market reacts to their new mobile games coming to North America and Europe this March.



Internet reacts negatively to Fine Bros.

In an announcement video for a new partnership deal, React World, which was meant to highlight how far the entertainment duo Benny and Rafi Fine, the Fine Bros, have come since their YouTube channel’s inception back in 2007, the brothers incurred the wrath of the thousands online. The uproar began shortly after the Fine Bros announced their plan to license out their REACT video series, which would allow aspiring content creators to use their brand and format for 50 percent of the monetization rights on YouTube.
