One Ball State Day wins two CASE Circle of Excellence awards

One Ball State Day, the university's 24-hour online fundraising event, was recognized with marketing and fundraising awards by the Council for Advancement and Support for Excellence (CASE) for its work in 2020.

According to a June 22 university press release, the CASE awards acknowledge accomplishments with a lasting impact, demonstrate high levels of professionalism and deliver exceptional results in academics.

One Ball State Day won a Gold award in "Campaign: Marketing — Fundraising" and a Silver award in "Fundraising Flash Campaigns."

The 2020 One Ball State Day saw more than 6,300 gifts and nearly $534,000, with gifts received from all 50 states and five different countries. In 2021, the event received more than 10,000 gifts totaling more than $900,000.

In its three years, One Ball State Day has raised more than $1.7 million for the university, and won 11 regional and national CASE awards.
