According to SGA elections board press secretary Megan Markarian, these are the percentages and number of votes each slate received:

Bold: 44.16%, or 866 votes

Alliance: 28.20%, or 553 votes

Aureum: 25.29%, or 496 votes

No confidence: 2.35%, or 46 votes

Total votes: 1,961

After a two week long election season, with three debates and two days of voting, Ball State's 2020 Student Government Association (SGA) election concluded in a runoff election for the second year in a row.

With no slate winning 51 percent or more of the student vote, a runoff election will take place between the top two slates with the most votes from the first round of voting — Bold (44.16%) and Alliance (28.20%).

Aureum slate will not go through to the second round of voting, trailing behind Alliance by less than 60 votes.

This year's election had a voter turnout of 8.7 percent — with 477 less votes cast than last year's first round of voting.
