Muncie police continue investigation after one victim shot

Officers from the Muncie Police Department (MPD) responded to reports of a shooting around noon Aug. 23 near the intersection of N. Hartford and E. Princeton Ave.

MPD Public Information Officer Chase Winkle confirmed the shooting near the intersection and said one victim was transferred to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Terrance Walker, 35, was identified as "a person of interest" in last week's shooting incident according to a tweet posted by MPD 11 a.m. Monday.

The tweet requests anyone with information to contact MPD's Criminal Investigation Division or Dispatch.
