Ben Highmore, a professor of cultural studies at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England, will be traveling from the United Kingdom to visit students and publicly present research at Ball State on Feb. 1.
Highmore, who is acclaimed for his work and research in mass observational studies, will meet with students from professor Patrick Collier’s Virginia Ball Seminar “Everyday Life in Middletown” before giving a presentation on research and observations of everyday life studies and mass observation.
The public talk will be in David Letterman Building room 125 at 7:30 p.m. and is Highmore’s first stop on a series of speaking engagements around the country.
