Students' opinions on Election Day

<p></p>

Voting rates of people ages 18-24 have traditionally been lower than any other age group.

Only 38 percent of that age group voted in the 2012 elections, which is down from 50.9 percent in 1964, according to the U.S. Census.

Election Day was Nov. 3 — but did students vote? Although they are away at college, students still could have voted with an absentee ballot before the election.
