HBO Go, the app that allows users to view HBO shows and films on portable media, is planned to be available for Xbox One.

Leaked images of the app surfaced when a user on the /r/xboxone subreddit connected to a Microsoft OneDrive account, according to WP Central. The user claiimed that the app still seemed to be in its testing stage. The pictures are currently removed from the site.

Last June, Microsoft stated that 45 new entertainment apps would be launched on the Xbox One and Xbox 360. HBO Go is already available on the Xbox 360. Other apps to be released include Vine, ShowTime Anytime, Comedy Central, Major League Gaming, and additional embedded Twitter capabilities. After the release of the new apps, there will be over 225 apps on Microsoft’s catalog, which is a 25 percent increase. Currently, only 180 apps are available.

HBO Go requires a subscription to cable or satellite TV. However, Richard Plepler, the CEO of HBO, announced earlier on in the week that the HBO channel will soon be released as a stand-alone streaming service in the United States within the next year.
