After being canceled due to rain, the second annual Dunk-A-Cop event is rescheduled for Friday, according to an email sent by the Communications Center.

The University Police Department uses the event to raise money for the Special Olympics of Indiana.

According to the email, last year’s event was successful.

“Last year, the fundraising proved to be a great way to interact with students, staff and the public. Everyone involved had a great time, and we hope this year will be a greater success,” the email said.

The event, which was originally scheduled for Aug. 22, will be hosted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Scramble Light.
