Student jogger hit by car in 'fair' condition, officials say

A student who was hit by a car while jogging Tuesday afternoon remains at IU Health Ball Memorial hospital in "fair" condition, officials at Ball Memorial said.

Emily Case, 20, was removed from intensive care this morning. According to The Star Press, Case suffered a concussion but no broken bones.

Driver Krystalin Taylor has been cited for disregarding a traffic signal after running a red light at the intersection of Wheeling and Riverside avenues and hitting Case, said Muncie police Sgt. Bruce Qualls.
