Teppanyaki Grill and Buffet closed again for the second time this year Thursday after the Delaware County Health Department found several violations.
“There were temperature violations in the hot holding area where food was not up to temperature,” Donna Wilkins, county health officer, said.
The restaurant located at 4221 W. Bethel Ave., was also cited for a refrigeration unit that was inoperable, a walk-in freezer that had a problem with water forming, drainage problems and lack of employees knowing how to properly sanitize surface areas, Wilkins said.
The restaurant will be closed until the owners notify the health department that the repairs have been made.
Teppanyaki had been closed in January for several health violations.
