It looks like Ball State is headed to the Beef ‘O’Brady’s Bowl.

Just ahead of tonight’s announcement by ESPN, three sources are pointing to a Ball State date with Central Florida on Dec. 21 in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The Orlando Sentinel said a UCF source confirmed that Ball State had accepted the bowl bid. On Twitter, Brett McMurphy, an ESPN college football reporter, also had the report.

Elsewhere, a source familiar with the bowl arrangements confirmed nor denied the Ball State-Central Florida matchup to the Daily News.

Twitter heated up quickly with tweets from several Ball State football players.

“Headed home for the Beef O Brady Bowl game...Its going to be great playing in front of my whole family,” one said.

Another player added: “Hello, Florida !!!”
