WOMEN'S TENNIS: Ball State drops 6-1 match to Bowling Green

Hebble scores the only point of the match for the Cardinals

The Ball State women's tennis team lost again Saturday afternoon to another Mid-American Conference opponent, Bowling Green, 6-1.

The one victory in the match was senior Sarah Hebble, who beat Katie Grubb, 6-3, 6-1.

The Cardinals' doubles teams were swept by the Falcons.

Doubles team No. 1, freshmen Ashlyn Rang and Courtney Wild lost 8-1 and the No. 2 team of Hebble and junior Paola Rodriguez lost 8-5.

Senior Dena Boulieris lost to Jessica Easdale 6-4, 6-2.

Ashlyn Rang also lost in singles, this time to Mary Hill, 6-2, 6-0.

Ball State will have another chance against the MAC next Saturday against Northern Illinois.
