NORTH JUDSON, Ind. — The funerals of three of the four soldiers with an Indiana-based National Guard unit who were killed in Afghanistan have been scheduled.
The funeral of 44-year-old Spc. Robert Tauteris Jr. of Hamlet will be held Sunday at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home in North Judson. Visitation is 10 a.m. Sunday until the 1 p.m. funeral.
The funeral for 21-year-old Spc. Brian J. Leonhardt of Merrillville will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Hammond.
The funeral of 20-year-old Spc. Christopher Patterson of Aurora, Ill. Is scheduled for 11 a.m. Jan. 21 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Batavia, Ill.
The three members of the Valparaiso-based 713th Engineer Company were killed Jan. 6 when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb.
