A tornado watch has been issued for East Central Indiana, including Delaware County. The tornado watch will be in effect until 9 p.m.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance of severe thunder storms this afternoon and into the early evening, until 7 p.m. These storms could include damaging thunderstorm winds, large hail and heavy rain. The thunderstorms are expected to develop ahead of a cold front, according to the NWS.
