WARSAW, Ind. — Former first lady Laura Bush, wife of former President George W. Bush, has added a second event in northern Indiana next week.
The South Bend Tribune reported Tuesday that she's scheduled to make brief remarks at the Oct. 6 dedication of Ivy Tech Community College's new campus in Warsaw, about 35 miles southeast of South Bend.
Ivy Tech asked those planning to attend the free, public event to call 574-267-5428, ext. 7213.
Bush, a former librarian and teacher, is scheduled to give a lecture about freedom and literacy at a ticketed event later that day at Grace College & Seminary in Winona Lake. The event is sold out.
