A Muncie church fire that left one man dead fighting the flames may have been caused by a lightning strike.
An eye witness has said that lightning struck Tabernacle of Praise Church at about 10:45 a.m., according to a press release from Muncie Fire Chief Sean Burcham.
The State Fire Marshal's report will not be finalized for a week and a half, but Burcham said this account confirms all leads that lightning was the cause of the fire.
