Indiana Blood Center to host on campus blood drive

The bloodmobile will make its way to campus this week.

The Indiana Blood Center will be on campus Wednesday for the Angels for Life Community Wide Blood Drive, according to a press release. The bloodmobile will be parked between the Teachers College and Art and Journalism Building from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m to accept blood donations.

Donors must be at least 17 years old, or 16 years old with parental consent, have a photo I.D., weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good general health.

The Indiana Blood Center is the primary blood supplier for Ball Memorial Hospital and about 65 other Indiana hospitals.

Walk-in donations are welcome, but donors can schedule an appointment by visiting donorpoint.org
