BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — "America's Most Wanted" has aired a new segment on missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer that included details of her disappearance and images of a truck being sought by Indiana police.
Saturday night's segment on the 20-year-old from Greenburgh, N.Y., told viewers the show's hotline was flooded with calls after it aired a June 11 segment on Spierer. The Herald-Times reports Saturday's show displayed surveillance camera images of the truck Bloomington police released Wednesday.
That truck drove around a city block in the same area and about the time Spierer vanished on June 3 as she was walking home after a night of partying with friends. The truck is a white shortbed four-door Chevrolet Silverado or Colorado built in the mid-2000s.
Volunteers continued searching for Spierer over the weekend.
