No one injured in vehicle fire behind DeHority Complex

Nobody was injured in the vehicle fire behind DeHority Complex, officials say.

Linda Smith is the owner of a red Chevrolet Malibu, one of the cars involved in the fire.

"I was surprised," the custodian at Noyer Complex said. "I walked out of work and someone told me my car was on fire."

Muncie firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire that created a heavy plume of smoke and caused two other vehicles to also catch fire.

The incident took place around 4:30 p.m. The vehicles involved are owned by Ball State employees.
