Apartments around Ball State filling fast

It is spring and the school year is coming to an end. Ball State students are making preparations for next year.

Soon they will be registering for classes, but first they must find out where they are living. It seems that every year houses and apartment complexes fill up sooner than the last.

Apartments are already making predictions as to when they will be at full capacity. Most students have already signed leases and beaten the deadline race, but others are having difficulties.

For Ball State junior Abbi Lee, the search has been a rough one. She has had to change plans multiple times due to trouble finding roommates as well as finding a place that fits her needs.

"I thought about not living in University Estates again," she said. "But it's very cheap to live here and there are lots of good amenities, so I would rather just stay."

Other students like sophomore Sara Morris are still searching. She has looked at many places with no luck. Several complexes have turned her and her roommate away because they have no room. Though her recent application for Silvertree has not yet been approved, she remains hopeful.
