Dating back to 2002, Muncie-bred "Everything, Now!" has taken their whimsically raw rock ‘n' roll vibes to the West Coast and back again, all the while keeping a firm footing amidst the royal throne of Indiana's most respected local acts.
Lead singer Jon "Crafty" Rogers came to Muncie for a girlfriend in 2002, moving into a house with some friends of friends. Upon acclimating himself with his roommates, Rogers began to mesh with some of the local musicians.
"I didn't know many people so I started playing with whoever was around and I've kept doing that the same way ever since then," he said. "As a musician, I know other musicians, and when I lose somebody or I need somebody else to play with me, I just ask whoever is around."
Rogers joined up with roommate Ben Sutton to start the band Grand Opening, with Sutton on keyboards, glockenspiel and other assorted instruments. As one friend led to another, Rogers and Sutton got together with what would be the rest of Everything, Now!'s initial lineup.
