Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority invited students to dress up, donate to charity, and help solve a murder mystery.
Barbie and Ken's "Wedding" mystery dinner theatre will take place at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Student Center Ball Room.
Students who attend will take part in the play. They'll be reading the script for the first time, trying to figure out who committed the crime while acting out their character on stage.
Fifty dollars will be awarded to whoever solves the mystery.
ESA's fall 2010 pledge class is hosting the "wedding." Admission costs $5, and proceeds go to Easter Seals, a services organization for people with autism and other disabilities.
Pledge Trainer Audreyalice Kubesch said this is the first time the sorority has hosted a mock mystery event. Each semester, the pledge class chooses a fundraiser, and this time they chose a mystery game.
The play was written by a member of the state chapter. The woman who wrote it is the only person who knows the answer to the mystery. It could be Barbie or Ken, or it could be a student participant. Kubesch said she doesn't even know who did it.
The event includes a 50/50 raffle; tickets cost $1.
