Traffic light on McKinley, University down

The traffic light on the intersection of McKinley and University avenues fell Friday morning because of a cable that snapped.

Jim Lowe, director of Engineering, Construction and Operations, said a stop sign was put on the intersection while the Muncie Street department works repairing the traffic lights.

A message sent from Public Works Superintendent Peter Heuer to Lowe said the lights should be up and working by the end of the day.
