Ball State officials are expecting lines of students will fill the outside of the Worthen Arena box office Saturday to get the right to see two influential figures in modern media who will soon be visiting the Ball State campus.
Alumnus David Letterman and the cofounder of Twitter, Biz Stone, will be speaking at John R. Emens Auditorium on Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
Students will be able to pick up tickets Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Roger Lavery, dean of the College of Communication, Information, and Media, advises students to arrive early because tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
"I think there is a hope that students will make an event out of this and have some fun as they wait in line for the box office to open," Lavery said.
Students may bring one ID other than their own to receive an additional ticket. The event will also be telecast live to Pruis Hall. Tickets are not required for the screening.
