Midfielder Abby Milillo, a Fairfield, Ohio native, now has the full attention of opposing coaches.
The redshirt sophomore won her first Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week Award on Monday. She scored two goals in Ball State's 3-2 win over Duquesne Saturday.
"Abby's weekend display was outstanding," first-year coach Craig Roberts said in a press release. "She finished both of her goals with great precision. She has worked hard to get herself back from injury to where she is now. What I am most excited about is that although she is displaying quality performances, I still feel she has more to come."
Ball State is 6-2 on the season, two more wins then last seasons win total.
Ball State will begin conference play Friday against Western Michigan.
