Coach Christine Bader has completed her coaching staff for the upcoming season, Ball State's athletics department announced today.
According to a press release, Bader added two assistant coaches today in Megan Fudge and Ryler DeHeart.
Fudge is a graduate assistant from Illinois, where she made the All-Big Ten Conference Team all four years as a player.
DeHart is also from Illinois, where he was a two-time All-American. He has played tennis professionally since graduating, including losing matches to Rafael Nadal and Andy Roddick. He joins Baders's staff as a volunteer assistant.
Bader is a graduate of Michigan State, giving the Cardinals a coaching staff of Big Ten alumni. Bader is the only coach on the staff with previous coaching experience. She was the head coach at Evansville for two seasons.
The Cardinals will begin their fall season Sept. 17 when they host the Ball State Fall Invitational.
