A Ball State student escaped serious injury Monday when her bicycle collided with a car near the Scramble Light.
Junior Beka Fehrman, 21, suffered scrapes and a slightly damaged bicycle in the crash. She said the collision left a dent in the car where she and her bicycle struck it.
The driver "said he was trying to pass a car," Fehrman said. She and the driver exchanged information and agreed to meet Tuesday at the University Police Department to settle for damages to her bicycle.
