Gov. Mitch Daniels will return to Muncie in mid-August to speak at a city and county economic meeting
The Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce announced Thursday that Daniels will speak at its breakfast meeting on Aug. 11 at the Horizon Convention Center in downtown Muncie.
This is the second time in recent months the two-term Republican governor has traveled to Muncie. Daniels held a public forum in March at Ball State University to discuss the state's recent budget cuts to higher education.
Tickets for this breakfast meeting are $20 per person, and the event is open to chamber members and Vision 2011 investors. The deadline to make a reservation is Aug. 5, but late reservations will be accepted for $45 per person.
