As the conference tournament's No. 2 seed, Loyola defeated last-place and first-year MIVA team 30-17, 30-10, 30-17 on Saturday in Chicago.

The Ramblers out-hit the Antelopes .549 to -.093, including holding Grand Canyon to a negative attack percentage in the final two games.

Outside attackers Kris Berzins and Mike Bunting each had a match-high 10 kills.

The 20-point loss in the second game was the fewest points Grand Canyon had in a single-game all season.
