Indiana State students threatened by gunman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — An Indiana State University student was arrested after two students told a police officer they were threatened with a gun at a campus parking lot.

Another man who is believed to have pulled the gun wasn't immediately caught after the Tuesday afternoon confrontation.

The campus police chief says one of the students who was threatened pointed out the vehicle in which the two men fled to an officer on bicycle patrol. The officer chased the vehicle to another parking lot, where the driver was arrested and a handgun found.

Twenty-four-year-old Brandon McIntosh of Merrillville was being held Wednesday in the Vigo County Jail on preliminary charges of criminal recklessness and possession of a handgun without a permit. Jail officials didn't have record of a defense attorney.
