Downtown Muncie's fourth annual Spring Zing was canceled for Saturday because of potential bad weather. Cheryl Crowder, program manager of Muncie Downtown Development Partnership, said in a voice message.
Most of the activities that were planned for the event were supposed to occur outdoor.
"I just don't know of any way how to fix that," she said.
Crowder said the Muncie Downtown Development is not going to move the date of the event. She said there are many other activities that need to be planned for the Summer.
Vendors and visitors that were planning on going to Spring Zing are encouraged to attend other downtown Muncie activities in the future, such as the July 3rd parade and Rib Fest.
Some organizations, like the Artist Within will still have activities that had been planned for Spring Zing.
