For the first time in a couple months, Fruesday and budget cuts weren't on the agenda for University Council.
The group's monthly meeting was canceled Thursday afternoon, and Brien Smith, chairmen of the University Senate Agenda Committee, said he thinks it was because of a lack of agenda items.
"That's not necessarily a bad thing either," he said. "The committee's taken care of a lot of items on the floor, and they're being very efficient."
This year, the University Senate has discussed altering the Fruesday schedule, creating a course evaluations committee, changing the summer enrollment policy and adding more professional representation on committees within the council.
