U.S. House members from Indiana stay along party lines for health care vote

Representatives from Indiana stayed along party lines for the health care vote in the U.S. House on Sunday.

The health care reform bill passed the Democratic-controlled House 219-212 with the five House Democrats from Indiana voting in favor of the legislation.

The four House Republicans from Indiana voted against the bill — including Rep. Mike Pence, whose district includes Ball State University.

Of the 212 dissenting votes, 34 came from Democrats.
